Behind the bold, hand-drawn designs of DUBS Swimwear is the story of an athlete who turned her passion for sport into a lifestyle brand. Founded by Bailey Grossenbacher, a standout softball player and coach, DUBS reflects her journey from the diamond to entrepreneurship and her mission to inspire athletes and dreamers everywhere.

Softball Excellence at FIU

Bailey’s athletic career at Florida International University (FIU) was defined by leadership, grit, and clutch performance. Competing at the Division I level, she became one of FIU’s most impactful players, earning:

Her time at FIU not only showcased her athletic ability but also shaped the discipline, resilience, and vision that she now brings to her business.

The Spark: Florida Vibe Professional Softball Team

The idea for DUBS was born during the summer Bailey worked with the Florida Vibe professional softball team. Immersed in a professional sports environment, she witnessed firsthand the passion and dedication of athletes at the highest level.

That summer, Kaija Gibson, the Vibe’s head coach, served as a mentor, encouraging Bailey to transform her creative ideas into something tangible. What started as sketches on paper would soon evolve into the foundation for DUBS.

Launching DUBS Swimwear

In October 2023, Bailey officially launched DUBS Swimwear. Every design is hand-drawn and built from scratch, making each piece a unique expression of originality and performance. Designed for athletes, adventurers, and anyone chasing movement and style, DUBS stands apart as a brand rooted in authenticity.

Another defining feature: all models for the brand are elite athletes—from Division I softball players to professional competitors. Pictured above is Bailey Grossenbacher and her former teammates at FIU, Kally Meredith and Paige Miller - all standouts at the FIU program. Other models featured on the DUBS SWIM Instagram: Michaela Edenfield (FSU), Elizabeth Hightower (UF), Ali Newland (LSU), Katie Kistler (UF). This ensures the brand reflects not just style, but also strength, performance, and credibility.

Coaching & Inspiring the Next Generation

Alongside building her brand, Bailey serves as the Assistant Softball Coach at Florida Southern (Division II). Coaching gives her the opportunity to mentor athletes and show them that success is not limited to the field—dreams can be chased in business and beyond.

Her larger mission is to inspire the younger generation of athletes and aspiring entrepreneurs, proving that with dedication and vision, it’s possible to succeed in multiple arenas.

Looking Ahead

Approaching its one-year anniversary, DUBS is poised for growth. Bailey’s next step is expanding into wholesale partnerships with beach stores across the country, spreading the DUBS lifestyle nationwide.
